Ingredients

  • 3 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk

Directions

Heat oil to 375F, at least 2″ deep.

Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.

Combine eggs and milk; add to dry ingredients and mix well.

Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot oil.  Do not overcrowd them; if the oil cools the An Da Gi will absorb too much oil.

Cook till brown…about 2 minutes.

Remove and drain on paper towels…best when served warm.

Note:  Resist the urge to make the donuts larger as you want it to cook all the way through without burning the outside.

The dough is very tacky, so don’t be worried that you forgot anything or did something wrong.

Recipe makes approximately 3 dozen.
